Well to begin, I will say that I learned a lot from this class. I had no idea about the content of visual communication at the beginning of the semester, but now I have sufficient knowledge about it. I think that the class was well supervised and here are my suggestions if it can help improve the class for the future.
1. As many of us are taking this course because they are minoring or majoring in communication, a good idea will be to give an assignment of designing any visual. it should be related to our major. for example I am majoring in marketing, I could have designed an ad and presented it to the class by applying visual communication concepts.
2. I think that we covered enough thing about the study of visual communication. another suggestion will be for example to assign to each student to present and analyse a visual. for example, each week someone will come with its own visual and analyse it.
3. I like the fact that we had no paper due this semester , I find it boring to do reaction papers... this is why I found that the Demo's were an excellent idea. this semester I learned a lot from my excellent classmates Demos. Also, the Blogs helped us apply the concepts that we learned so far. I encourage you to keep the demos and the Blogs.
Finally, I think professor that you did very well teaching us this class for the first time! as the class of video and film production I really enjoyed it .
